Ronald A. Dyson passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at home after a brief illness. Ron was born October 7, 1948 in Noblesville and was the son of the late Roy D. Dyson, Sr. and Mildred E. Dyson who survives. He was married to Mila J. (Gatlin) Dyson for 16 yrs who also survives. Ron retired from Chrysler in 2004 after 37 ½ years and served in the U.S. Army for 3 yrs. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching I.U. basketball and the New York Yankees. He graduated from Noblesville High School in 1968 and lived in Hamilton and Madison counties his entire life. Other survivors include his stepson, Richard N. Black and fiancé Johna L. Anderson, 5 grandchildren, Josclyne J. Anderson, Joshua D. Anderson, Kaitlyn J. Black, Rilyn N. Black, Thomas R. Black; brother Roy D. Dyson, Jr., sister Shelia R. Montgomery, and many nieces, nephew and cousins. Visitation will be at First Church of God (1610 Field Drive) from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, Feb. 13th with service at 12:30. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Hamilton Memorial Park. In memory of Ron, contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Indianapolis (VNS).

    It was a privilege conducting the funeral service today. Ron was blessed by a wonderful family and many amazing friends. I thank God for the strong legacy he is leaving behind him. Pastor Fred Knoll

    I love and miss you everyday, Uncle Ronnie!!! Words can not express the sadness that I still feel over your passing. It pains me to know that you are no longer in the living with us!! You are and always will be my favorite Uncle!! I LOVE YOU!!
